Clark & Sons Pools

Mark Clark is an award winning pool and landscape designer with offices in both Springfield and Poplar Bluff, Missouri. His company, Clark & Sons Pools and Spas, is likely the fastest growing and most innovative pool company in Southern Missouri. Mark was recently awarded the distinguished APSP Award of Excellence for his outstanding design work.

A strong believer in pool industry education, Mark has completed several Genesis III design and build courses. He has recruited the talents of his friend, nationally acclaimed pool designer Michael Nantz, to take his company to a higher level. With projects stretching from St. Louis to Branson, Clark & Sons Pools & Spas is a company to watch. A recent Branson, Missouri project features a rooftop pool with a large vanishing edge and stone waterfall. This pool is scheduled for feature in Watershapes magazine.

Mark's youngest son, Greg is the company's construction supervisor. Greg has completed the comprehensive Genesis III construction training and is very active in ongoing education within the pool industry. The company is also grooming young designer Aaron Aden to follow a course to elite pool design. Aaron is currently working toward his certification with the Genesis III Design Group. Mark's stated goal is simple, "To be the best at what we do."

Michael Nantz specializes in sophisticated, creative and expertly composed pool environments. With a background in both constructuion management and architectural design, Michael is especially adroit at crafting outdoor living spaces with features that are just as artful on their own as they are in relation to the swimming pool.

"On every project, an integrated design process in which the surrounding environment is heavily considered influences the final product," Nantz says. "Often the homes' interiors play a key role as well, providing inspiration and elements that lead to achieving what many clients consider extraordinary results."

Michael is the recepient of multiple national and international awards and has had work featured in a varietly of national publications including Luxury Pools and Watershapes magazines. He is a Platinum member of the Genesis III Design Group and is certified in the Society of Watershape Designers. He has designed pools in Mexico, Costa Rica, the Virgin Islands, and many states in the United States.

Mr. Nantz became an associate of Clark & Sons Pools and Spas in 2006 and looks forward to helping the company achieve new heights.
